
Looking for an enthusiastic OPS Manager to join our team of 5 professionals (Finance, Admin, Business development, Sales and Liaison officer between Corex Holding and Sealease) and oversees the operational aspects of Sealease’s current and future fleet.
Established in 2006, Sealease has emerged as a prominent figure in providing funding solutions to leading maritime leased over 400 boats to the B2B market. Sealease provides full service sustainable leasing solutions to fleet operators worldwide, combining competitive funding with a variety of additional services to renowned market leaders in the yacht charter, passenger ferries and work boat segment in cooperation with its clients, well known shipyards and best in class service providers.
Location : Full time at the office in Amstelveen, The Netherlands and visiting regularly Brussel’s office.
Language/s: Good communication skills (verbal and written) in French & English (French is a plus)
Essentials Duties and Responsibilities:
An Operations Manager oversees the operational & technical aspects of Sealease’s fleet.
- Manage new vessel acquisitions / follow progress of vessels under construction/repair;
- Negotiation of Insurance contracts;
- Flag registrations & Navigation permits;
- Port clearance & importation/agent relationships & transportation of new assets to their port of destination;
- Vessel maintenance plans (preventive and planned), spare parts management;
- Vessel documentation check and management including Classification Certificates;
- Hybrid working: regularly meeting the team in Brussel and/or Amsterdam.
Education and Work Experience, Requirements and Qualification:
- 3-7 years of experience in vessel management / operational charter management;
- An enthusiastic team player;
- Self-starter / independent / pro active /
- Good knowledge of MS office / computer skills / CRM;
- Willingness to travel regularly (predominantly) within Europe and Caribbean;
- Technical / maritime education;
- Sailing enthusiast and crazy about boats.
