The role
As the Functional Application Specialist 3DX - Outfitting & Accommodation, you will be the driving force behind the development and implementation of engineering functionalities in our Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) systems. With your technical knowledge and affinity for process improvement, you will empower engineering teams and enhance operational efficiency across our innovative naval programs.
Key accountabilities
In this role, your responsibilities will include:
Slate complex engineering processes into smart, functional specifications.
Collaborate closely with engineers, IT specialists, and other stakeholders to enhance usability and system performance.
Lead the implementation of application improvements and support configuration activities.
Manage user roles, system access, and integration of new functionalities.
Maintain and develop parametric parts, technical specifications, and data catalogues for outfitting and accommodation.
Deliver hands-on user support and coordinate relevant application training.
Create and maintain training materials, documentation, and user manuals.
Optionally support Cadmatic (Outfitting) application in legacy projects.
Skills & experience
We are looking for candidates with the following qualifications:
A Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Engineering, preferably Shipbuilding or related.
Proven experience with the Dassault 3Dexperience (3DX) platform.
Familiarity with Cadmatic (Outfitting) is a strong advantage.
Solid understanding of PLM principles and functional application management.
Strong analytical and communication skills, with a proactive mindset.
Fluency in English (written and spoken); Dutch is a plus.
The ability and willingness to work at our Vlissingen or Schiedam location.
EU citizenship and a permanent EU passport (a requirement due to the military nature of our projects).
